Who we are
PayCheckup is published by Nowela AB, Sweden. This policy covers the PayCheckup app and paycheckup.app.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter, your shifts, breaks, hourly rates, employers, overtime rules and paycheck comparisons, is stored on your iPhone. Nowela AB has no access to it and never receives a copy.
iCloud sync
iCloud sync is optional and off until you turn it on in Settings. When it is on, your data syncs through your own private iCloud database so it appears on your other Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account. That copy belongs to your Apple Account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
PayCheckup has no server, and Nowela AB cannot see or read it. Turning sync off keeps your data on your iPhone. The copy in iCloud stays in your iCloud storage until you delete it there.
Exports
When you export a pay record as PDF or spreadsheet, the file is created on your device and goes wherever you send it. Nowela AB is not involved in that transfer.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple. PayCheckup receives only whether a purchase is active. We never see your name, your payment method or your Apple Account.
Analytics
PayCheckup contains no analytics, no tracking and no third-party software development kits.
The website
paycheckup.app uses no analytics, trackers, cookies or external fonts.
Email to support
If you email support@paycheckup.app, we receive your message, your email address and anything you attach, and use them only to answer you.
A problem report sent from inside the app is also saved as a ticket in GitHub, the issue tracker we use to fix bugs. The ticket holds your message and the technical details the app adds, such as the app and iOS version. It does not hold your full email address. Ask us and we delete your email and any ticket made from it.
Children
PayCheckup is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
We hold no data from the app. The only thing we may hold is email you sent us, which we delete when you ask. Your own records are yours to export at any time from inside the app, and deleting the app removes them from your device. If you used iCloud sync, you can delete the iCloud copy under iCloud storage in your device's Settings.
